What Trimsize is
Trimsize is a custom size price calculator for Shopify. It is built for shops that make things to measure: sign shops, printers, blind and door makers, fabric and flooring stores. Support is handled by the Trimsize team at support@trimsize.app.
Why it exists
Shops that make things to measure could not sell them properly on Shopify. A product's price lives on its variants, and no variant table holds every width and height a customer might ask for. So sign shops, printers, blind makers and fabric and flooring stores sent customers to "email us for a quote", or priced a few fixed sizes and lost the rest. Trimsize gives those shops a price calculator on the product page: customers type the size, pick the material and options, and see the price as they type, worked out the way the shop quotes at the counter.
How it sets the price
Trimsize works out the price on its own server, from the rates, minimums, add-ons and tables you set. At checkout a Shopify Function sets that price on the cart line, so the price a customer saw is the price Shopify charges. There are no hidden variants and no fee products, and a price edited in the browser is blocked. The same applies on every Shopify plan.
What we promise
- One flat price. Free for up to 5 priced products. Pro is $29 a month or $290 a year, with a 14-day trial, however much you sell. No revenue caps, no per-order fees.
- Help to start. Send us your price list and we set up your first product, or do it with you on a call. Free, on either plan.
- Your customers' data stays yours. Trimsize keeps only what pricing and producing an order needs, and this website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The privacy policy says exactly what we hold, in plain words.
- Two languages on the storefront. The price block speaks English and German, following the language your store shows.
