What your customers get

• Any banner size, in feet or inches, up to the widest roll and longest run you print.
• The material as a choice: 13 oz vinyl, mesh for windy sites, each with its own rate and minimum.
• Finishing that fits the banner: hemming priced per foot of edge, grommets counted and priced per piece, pole pockets, wind slits on mesh.
• The total as they type, and the same total in the cart and at checkout.

Priced the way you quote

Banners are sold by the square foot, but finishing isn't: a hem follows the edge, so it grows with the perimeter, not the area. Trimsize prices each extra the way it's made. In the guide's example, a 3 × 6 ft vinyl banner at $3.50 a square foot is $63.00; hemmed all round at $0.75 a foot (18 ft of edge) with eight grommets at $0.50, it's $80.50. Set a minimum on each material so small banners still cover setup, and offer rush as a turnaround choice or a pricing rule. On Pro, quantity breaks take a percentage off each banner for event and campaign orders.

From order to the printer

Each order line says the size, material, hem, grommet count and pockets, so finishing doesn't have to be guessed. Customers upload their print file with a resolution check for the size they ordered. On Pro, the production queue lists paid banners by due date, with the square feet of each material you need, and job tickets go to the finishing table.
