Made-to-measure blinds pricing for Shopify

In short: Trimsize lets a blinds and curtains store sell made to measure on Shopify straight from its supplier's price list. Customers enter the window's width and drop in millimetres, pick a fabric, the control side, a motor and a lining; the price comes from your supplier's width × drop table for that fabric group, plus the extras, and Shopify charges exactly that at checkout.

What your customers get

  • Their window's size, to the millimetre, with the price for the band it falls in.
  • Fabrics as swatches, grouped the way your supplier prices them.
  • The extras they ask about: left or right controls, motorising, blackout lining, and any others you add, like chain colour or a cassette.
  • The full price before they add to cart, not a quote request.

Priced from your supplier's table

Blind suppliers don't price by area: they send a table per fabric group, with widths along the top and drops down the side. In Trimsize you copy that table from Excel or Google Sheets and paste it onto the fabric group, headings and all. A customer's size rounds up to the next band, so a 1000 × 1650 mm blind in the 1200 × 1800 band costs that cell, for example $211.92; motorised at $250.00 and with blackout lining at +15%, it's $531.21. The blinds pricing guide walks through the table, the extras and pasting it in.

When your supplier's prices change, paste the new table over the old one. Each fabric group updates on its own, and the price table docs list the heading and number formats Trimsize reads.

From order to the workroom

Each line carries the exact width, drop, fabric, control side and extras, which is what your supplier's order form or your workroom needs. On Pro, the production queue keeps paid orders in date order, and quotes as draft orders cover whole-house jobs measured on site.

Questions

Can I use my supplier's price list as it is?

Yes. Copy the table with its widths and drops from your spreadsheet and paste it onto the fabric group. Headings like 1501–1800 read as the band's largest size.

What if a customer enters a size between two bands?

It rounds up to the next band, the way suppliers price. Sizes beyond your largest band can't be ordered.

Can I sell curtains and blinds in the same store?

Yes. Each product has its own pricing: blinds from a width and drop table, curtains from a table or by fabric length.
