Garage and roller door pricing for Shopify

In short: Trimsize lets a garage and roller door business price made-to-measure doors on Shopify from its own price table. Customers enter the opening's width and height in millimetres, choose the material and add a motor, remotes and wind-rated guides; the price is the table's cell for that size plus the extras, and Shopify charges exactly that at checkout.

What your customers get

  • A price for their opening, not "call for a quote", with the size rounded up to the band you build.
  • The material as a choice, such as bare Zincalume or a painted Colorsteel finish, each priced from its own table.
  • The extras they'd ask for anyway: a standard or premium motor, extra remotes, wind-rated guides for exposed sites.
  • Limits that match what you make, so nobody orders a door wider than your largest band.

Priced from your table

Doors are priced by width and height bands, so Trimsize uses a price table per material: widths along the top, heights down the side, pasted from your spreadsheet. The extras are added on top. In the starter, a standard motor is $650.00, extra remotes $95.00 each and wind-rated guides $795.00, so a door whose table price is $2,400.00 comes to $3,240.00 with a standard motor and two extra remotes, or $4,035.00 with the guides too.

Installation, delivery zones or site visits can be options or pricing rules, and the width × drop guide explains how bands round, which works the same for doors.

From order to the factory

Each order says the exact opening, material, motor and extras, so the build sheet writes itself. On Pro, job tickets print for the factory floor, and quotes as draft orders handle the jobs that need a site measure before they're confirmed.

Questions

Can I sell doors that need a site measure?

Yes. Customers can order online at their measured size, and on Pro you can send quotes as draft orders for jobs you measure yourself before confirming.

How do I price motors and remotes?

Make the motor a choice with a price per model, and extra remotes a number priced per piece. They're added to the door's table price.

Can different materials have different price tables?

Yes. Each material has its own table on the same widths and heights, and the customer's choice decides which one prices the door.
