Choosing or changing a plan

On the free plan, Trimsize's Home shows the Your plan card, with how many of your 5 products you've priced; click See plans. On Pro, click Change plan in the line at the bottom of Home. Either opens Shopify's plan page, where you choose, change or cancel a plan. You never need to contact us to change plans.

Pro features show a Pro badge in these docs, and a "Paid plan" badge with See plans in the app.

Billing

• Shopify bills Pro on your Shopify invoice. We never take payment directly.
• The 14-day trial is free: cancel before it ends and you aren't charged.
• Development stores can use every plan free.
• We give at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to your plan.

If you leave Pro

If you leave Pro and have more than 5 products priced, you get 30 days' notice in the App. During those 30 days nothing on your store changes, and a banner on Home and Products shows how many days are left. You get no email, so open the App to see it.

Choose what happens to each product past the free plan's 5 on the Choose products screen. To keep every product priced instead, use See plans and choose Pro. You can change your choices until day 30, and after it: then each change applies at once. There are three:

• Keep priced. Up to 5 products keep their pricing.
• Pause. The product's setup is kept, and the product can't be bought. Its page shows "This item isn't available right now." with no buy buttons, and checkout refuses it if it is already in a cart.
• Remove pricing. The setup is kept, and the product sells at its Shopify price. Shoppers aren't asked for a size, and your theme's Price block shows the price; if you removed it from the template, add it back.

The screen opens filled in: the 5 products you saved most recently are set to Keep priced and every other product to Pause. On day 30 we apply whatever the screen holds, so if you never open it, that is what happens. If you are back within the free plan's 5 products by day 30, nothing is paused.

On Products, those products show Paused or Pricing removed in the Pricing column, and the Pricing filter's Paused or unpriced lists them. Opening one says so, with Choose products. From day 30, the banner on Home and Products says how many products are paused or unpriced.

When you choose Pro again, every paused product can be bought again and every product whose pricing was removed this way is priced again, from the setup you saved. Nothing you saved is deleted. On the free plan you can't add beyond its limits, and the Production and Quotes pages close until you choose Pro again. Stages and proofs already saved stay on your orders.
